Hi, we have had quite a fun week on the farm this week with the anual Somerton Horse Show taking part in one of our fields right next to the shop. It wasn't the most successful for those of us with horses on the farm, only a 5th and a 3rd between the lot of us but we enjoyed it any way.
The cows continue to find means of escape at every opportunity and keep popping up in variuos parts of the village! The pigs have been a little better behaved recently, (hopefully not speaking too soon!) its been a while since they have got into the veg patch, until recently barely a day went past without one of them turning up where it shouldn't!
Here in the shop the hot weather means we are keeping most of our meat in the main fridge rather than having it on display as much, so if you call in and can't see what you want just ask!
Pete has made some amazing new burgers, Pork, Rosemary and Apple I think he, with everyone here having them for lunch everday hopefully there will be some left for customers!
